This comfortable fleece combines excellent thermal properties with certified safety. Thanks to its innovative Modaflame fibers, this garment offers a reliable barrier against workplace hazards, while the soft material provides pleasant warmth during cold working days.

For which specific work environments is the flame-resistant Portwest FR30 fleece suitable?

This garment is ideally suited for use in ATEX environments and sectors where workers are exposed to radiant heat, convective heat, or electric arcs. This includes the petrochemical industry, installation technology, and the energy sector.

Thanks to its strict CE-CAT III certification and antistatic properties, the fleece prevents electrostatic discharge, minimizing the risk of sparks in explosive zones. Additionally, the high cotton content ensures breathability, remaining comfortable during intensive physical work.

What do the EN ISO 11612 and EN 1149-5 standards mean for this flame-resistant fleece?

The EN ISO 11612 (A1, B1, C2) standard guarantees that the clothing provides protection against heat and flames, with the letters representing resistance to flame spread and various types of heat. The EN 1149-5 standard confirms the fabric's antistatic properties.

Because the flame-resistant properties are inherently built into the Modaflame fibers, these protective qualities are not lost during washing. This makes the fleece an extremely durable and safe choice for long-term daily use.

This model features a convenient interactive zip, elasticated cuffs, an adjustable drawcord hem, chin guard, and zipped pockets for the secure storage of your belongings.

Features:

Inherent flame-resistant properties will not diminish with washing

Protects against radiant and convective heat

Front zip opening

Adjustable drawcord hem

Elasticated cuffs for a secure fit

Zipped pockets

Chin guard for added comfort and stability

High cotton content for superior comfort

Antistatic

2 pockets for secure storage

Interactive zip for increased functionality

UPF 40+ rated fabric to block 98% of UV rays

Suitable for use in ATEX environments

CE-CAT III

CE certified

Fabric and care:

Shell fabric: 60% Modacrylic, 39% Cotton, 1% Carbon Fiber (280g/m²)

Wash instructions: Max wash temp 40°C, normal process.
