SBP safety shoes meet the SB basic category of EN ISO 20345, supplemented by a puncture-resistant midsole. This makes them suitable for workplaces where nails, screws or sharp debris may be on the floor, without the additional requirements of the S classes.
The selection is small: two leather ankle boots from the Portwest Steelite range, a nubuck and a smooth leather model. Both have an outsole that is resistant to contact heat (HRO). Below you will read when SBP is sufficient and when another class is better suited.
