Description
The Portwest EP09 corded earplugs offer reliable hearing protection for professionals who want to prevent hearing damage in noisy work environments. These disposable earplugs are specially designed for daily use in sectors where constant or fluctuating noise levels are a factor. Thanks to their ergonomic design and soft material, they seal the ear canal comfortably, allowing you to work carefree and focused throughout the entire workday.
Which work environments are these corded earplugs most suitable for?
This hearing protection is ideally suited for noisy industrial environments, construction sites, and workshops where noise levels exceed safe limits. Because the earplugs are equipped with a practical connecting cord, they can easily hang around the neck when not needed temporarily.
This prevents loss on the work floor and makes them ideal for employees who regularly enter areas with varying noise levels. The hygienic individual packaging ensures that each pair remains clean until the moment of use.
What does the EN 352-2 standard mean for these corded earplugs?
The EN 352-2 standard indicates that this hearing protection is officially certified as hearing-saving plugs. With a high attenuation value of SNR 37dB, they offer a very strong reduction in ambient noise, which is essential when exposed to loud, harmful tones.
The CE-CAT III certification further confirms that this product meets the strictest European safety requirements for personal protective equipment that protects against irreversible health damage. This makes the model a safe choice for heavy industrial applications.
