What to look for in a work bag?

The base is the first thing to fail. A reinforced, water-resistant base means the bag can stand on a wet loading floor or rough concrete. Next, look at the layout: separate compartments and elastic loops keep tools in place and stop sharp points from poking through the fabric.

An open toolbag works fastest for jobs where you switch tools often. A closed bag or hard case protects better during transport and keeps out dust. If you carry the bag over longer distances, a backpack model is much kinder to your back.

Which bag is suitable for tools?

Look for a reinforced, water-resistant base and compartments that stop sharp tools from poking through the fabric. An open toolbag works quickly for jobs where you switch tools often; a closed bag or case protects better during transport and against dust.

Are these bags waterproof?

Most work bags are water-resistant: they withstand a shower and a wet loading floor, but aren't fully waterproof when submerged. Store sensitive equipment in a sealed inner pocket, or use a welded-seam bag if you work structurally in the rain.
