White coverall or disposable coverall

For short, clean painting jobs, a disposable coverall made from breathable non-woven material is ideal: it keeps paint splashes out and goes straight in the bin after the job, without anything to wash. If you work as a painter regularly, a reusable cotton coverall is often more economical and comfortable over a full day.

Protection against paint and solvents

For spray work with paint, varnish or solvents, we recommend a coverall with elastic cuffs at the wrist and ankle, so nothing gets in. Always wear a suitable mask against fumes and fine dust, and protective gloves against chemical products.

Working comfortably on the ladder

Painters spend a lot of time on a ladder or scaffold, so lightweight material and enough freedom of movement in the shoulders and knees matter. Work shoes with good tread and a non-slip sole, found in our work shoes, prevent slipping on a wet or dusty surface.

Veelgestelde vragen

Is a disposable coverall suitable for painting?

Yes, for short-term painting or spray work a disposable coverall is ideal: it keeps out paint, is breathable and can be thrown away afterward. Browse the range at Disposable.

Which mask do I use when spray-painting?

For spray work with paint or varnish, you need a mask with a combined dust and vapor filter (for example type A2P2). Check Masks for the right type.

How do I prevent paint stains on my clothing?

A coverall with elastic cuffs at the wrist, ankle and waist seals well, so less paint gets onto your underclothing. A well-fitting hood or cap also protects your hair.

Which gloves are suitable for painting with solvents?

Choose chemical-resistant gloves made of nitrile or neoprene; these don't let solvents through. Find our full range at gloves.
