Description
The Portwest SM61 oil spill kit is a compact and specialized solution for the quick and effective management of oil and liquid spills in the workplace. This kit has been specifically developed for professionals in industrial environments, workshops, and construction sites where oil products are used. Thanks to its targeted composition, you can clean up spilled liquids immediately, thereby preventing hazardous situations and environmental damage in the workplace.
For which specific work environments is this oil spill kit most suitable?
This kit is ideally suited for industrial sectors, automotive workshops, logistics centers, and construction sites where oils and fuels are used.
The absorbent material is designed to exclusively absorb oily liquids and fully repel water. This allows you to also use the materials outdoors in the rain or on water surfaces to effectively separate and clean up spilled oil without the absorbency being lost to water.
What do the BS 7959 standards mean for this oil spill kit?
The BS 7959 standards that this kit complies with guarantee the quality and effectiveness of materials used for controlling liquid spills.
The BS 7959-1, BS 7959-2, and BS 7959-3 standards define the absorption capacity, the suitability of materials for specific liquids such as oil, and the general performance of the absorbents, respectively. This gives you the assurance that the pads, socks, and cushion in this kit perform reliably under heavy industrial conditions.
