The Portwest VB622 cut-resistant glove has been specially developed for professionals who need reliable hand protection during high-risk tasks. This model is exceptionally well-suited for industrial environments where employees encounter sharp materials and tools on a daily basis. Thanks to its specific compression packaging, this glove is optimally tailored for distribution via vending machines on the work floor, significantly increasing logistical efficiency within your company.
For which specific tasks and sectors is this cut-resistant glove most suitable?
This work glove is ideally suited for assembly, metalworking, and logistics processes where sharp edges pose a risk. The combination of mechanical resistance and finger dexterity makes the glove ideal for precision work in dry conditions.
The smooth polyurethane coating on the palm provides excellent grip on tools and components. This allows employees in assembly and light industry to maneuver safely and accurately without sacrificing tactile sensitivity.
What do the EN 388 level C and ANSI A4 standards mean for this cut-resistant glove?
The EN 388:2016 + A1:2018 standards with class 4X43C and ANSI/ISEA 105 CUT Level A4 demonstrate that this glove offers high resistance to cuts. Levels C and A4 mean that the material is resistant to medium-level cutting pressure.
This effectively protects the wearer against sharp materials such as glass, thin metal, and sharp packaging edges. In addition, the EN 407 class X1XXXX standard offers basic protection against contact heat.
The seamless 13-gauge liner offers a precise fit and prevents skin irritation, while the palm-dipped finish ensures maximum ventilation and comfort during prolonged use.
