What do the EN ISO 20345:2022 S5S, SR, and CI standards mean for this Portwest FD80 safety boot?
The EN ISO 20345:2022 +A1:2024 S5S standard guarantees that this boot is equipped with a composite safety toe cap and a puncture-resistant composite midsole for optimal penetration resistance.
The addition of SR stands for the highest class of slip resistance on ceramic tiles with glycerin, which effectively prevents slipping on the work floor. The CI rating indicates cold insulation of the sole complex, keeping your feet warm at low temperatures. This makes this model a superior alternative to standard work boots without this specific thermal insulation.
