The Portwest EP25 disposable earplugs provide reliable hearing protection for professionals working daily in moderately noisy environments. These comfortable earplugs are specially designed to effectively dampen harmful ambient noise, while still allowing the wearer to remain alert to signals and communication in the workplace. Thanks to their soft structure, they are ideal for long-term use in various industrial sectors where constant hearing protection is required.
For which work environments are these Portwest EP25 disposable earplugs most suitable?
These earplugs are optimal for workplaces with an average noise level where complete isolation is actually undesirable or dangerous. Examples include light industry, assembly halls, warehouses, or during events.
In these environments, it is crucial that you can still hear warning signals and instructions from colleagues clearly. The earplugs dampen harmful background noise to a safe level, allowing you to continue working comfortably and focused without losing contact with your immediate surroundings.
What do the EN 352-2 standard and an SNR of 22dB mean for these earplugs?
The EN 352-2 standard indicates that this hearing protection is officially certified for safe use in the European workplace. The specific SNR value of 22dB represents an average noise reduction of 22 decibels.
This makes the model extremely suitable for situations with a lower noise load. Where heavier hearing protectors cut the wearer off from the outside world too much, this level of attenuation offers exactly the right balance between necessary protection and the maintenance of essential environmental communication.
The ergonomic PU foam adapts effortlessly to the ear canal. This ensures a pressure-free, comfortable fit throughout the entire workday.
