The Portwest PW76 clip-on ear defenders are high-quality hearing protection specially designed for professionals working in noisy environments while wearing a helmet. These ear muffs are intended for direct mounting on a safety helmet and are widely used in construction and industry. Thanks to their striking hi-vis color, they significantly increase the wearer's visibility on the work floor, contributing to a safer working environment.
For which specific tasks is this clip-on hearing protection most suitable?
These ear muffs are excellent for work on construction sites, in factories, and within other industrial sectors where loud noises pose a direct risk to hearing.
Because this model can be clipped directly onto a safety helmet, it is the ideal choice for construction site workers, mechanics, and industrial operators who are required to wear a helmet. The striking hi-vis color also provides extra passive safety when working with moving equipment or in low-light situations.
What does the EN 352-3 standard mean for this clip-on hearing protection?
The EN 352-3 standard indicates that this hearing protection is specifically approved for mounting on industrial safety helmets.
The addition of SNR 25dB represents an average attenuation value of 25 decibels, which means that harmful ambient noise is reduced by this amount. This effectively protects your hearing from damage during prolonged exposure to machinery and tools, while the helmet attachment allows you to continue wearing your necessary head protection on the work floor.
The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable fit during long working days. The ear muffs can be easily clicked into the rest position when attenuation is not required.
Standards: EN 352-3 (SNR 25dB)
