The Portwest AB664 cut-resistant glove is specially designed for professionals who work daily with sharp materials and tools. This high-quality work glove offers the highest protection against cuts in high-risk work environments. Thanks to the combination of strong materials and a functional coating, this model is ideally suited for heavy industrial tasks, assembly, and metalworking where hand safety must be guaranteed at all times.
For which specific tasks is this Portwest AB664 cut-resistant glove suitable?
This cut-resistant glove is ideally suited for tasks where you come into direct contact with sharp glass sheets, metal edges, or cutting tools. The gloves are frequently used in the glass industry, metal processing, and for complex assembly work.
Thanks to the smooth polyurethane coating on the palm, you maintain an excellent grip on slippery objects. The HPPE liner with steel fibers significantly increases the hardness of the fibers, ensuring that hands remain optimally protected during heavy mechanical operations.
What does the EN 388: 2016 + A1: 2018 (4X43F) standard mean for this cut-resistant glove?
The EN 388: 2016 + A1: 2018 (4X43F) standard indicates that this cut-resistant glove has been extensively tested for mechanical risks. The letter F stands for the highest possible level of cut resistance according to the TDM test, which means the glove is resistant to extreme cutting forces.
The other numbers in the code show that the glove has very high abrasion and tear resistance. This makes the glove extremely durable in use and offers reliable protection during intensive work.
The 13-gauge liner ensures a precise fit and optimal comfort. The gloves are supplied in an economical multipack of twelve pairs.
