This hygienic safety shoe offers excellent protection on the work floor and prevents fatigue during long working days. Thanks to its advanced materials, this model is suitable for both men and women who are looking for optimal grip and hygiene on a daily basis.
For which specific work environments is this S2 work shoe most suitable?
This S2 work shoe is ideally suited for environments where hygiene and moisture resistance are crucial, such as the food industry, kitchens, laboratories, and healthcare.
The water-repellent upper prevents liquids from penetrating the shoe, which is essential during cleaning tasks or in the event of liquid spills. Additionally, the SRC-certified anti-slip sole ensures maximum grip on both ceramic tiles with water and steel floors with glycerol, significantly reducing the risk of slipping on wet or greasy work floors.
What does the S2 rating mean for the safety of this Portwest B0510 shoe?
The S2 rating means that this safety shoe is equipped with a protective safety toe cap capable of withstanding an impact of 200 joules, and features a closed heel with shock absorption.
Furthermore, the S2 class guarantees that the upper is water-repellent, unlike basic S1 models. The shoe is also antistatic, and the sole is resistant to hydrocarbons such as oils and fuels. This makes the model a safe choice for locations where both falling objects and damp conditions are a concern.
With specific width sizes for both men and women, this shoe fits the foot perfectly, ensuring long-lasting comfort and stability.
