The Base Barista O1 LG SC FO SR safety shoe from Portwest is a comfortable work shoe specifically designed for professionals who spend long days standing or walking. This lightweight, vegan shoe is ideal for work environments where a steel or composite safety toe is not required, but grip and comfort are essential. Thanks to high-quality technical materials and an ergonomic design, this model offers the perfect balance between daily efficiency and long-lasting support.
Which work activities and sectors is this Base work shoe most suitable for?
This work shoe is ideally suited for sectors such as hospitality, logistics, and light industry, where employees frequently walk and stand. Because the model does not have a hard safety toe, it is not intended for heavy construction sites, but rather for environments where flexibility and comfort are the priority.
The slip-resistant rubber sole and excellent shock absorption in the heel ensure that you can work throughout the day on hard or slippery floors without fatigue.
What do the O1 and SR standards mean for this Portwest work shoe?
The O1 standard indicates that this is a certified work shoe with antistatic properties and a closed, energy-absorbing heel, but without a protective toe cap. The SR rating stands for the highest class of slip resistance on ceramic tiles with glycerin, which effectively prevents slipping on the work floor.
In addition, FO indicates an oil- and fuel-resistant outsole, while the LG standard provides extra grip on ladders, which significantly increases overall safety during daily work activities.
The model features a SmellStop lining against odors, a custom orthopedic footbed, and an AirTech anti-fatigue sole for optimal daily walking comfort.
