The Portwest Komodo Trainer S1PS ESD FO SR safety shoe is an innovative and sporty safety sneaker specifically designed for professionals who spend a lot of time walking and standing daily. For which sectors and activities is the Portwest B0668 Komodo Trainer safety shoe most suitable?
This sporty safety shoe is ideally suited for dry work environments where employees are frequently in motion. Think of sectors such as logistics, light industry, assembly, and transport.
Thanks to the ESD protection, this model is also highly suitable for workplaces with sensitive electronic equipment, where electrostatic discharges must be prevented. The slip-resistant SR outsole ensures reliable grip on both ceramic and steel surfaces, significantly reducing the risk of slipping and tripping during active workdays.
What do the S1PS and ESD standards mean for this Portwest Komodo Trainer safety shoe?
The S1PS standard indicates that this shoe is equipped with a protective safety toe cap resistant to an impact of 200 joules, combined with a puncture-resistant sole against sharp objects.
The ESD standard guarantees that the shoe controlledly dissipates electrostatic charges to the ground, which prevents damage to sensitive electronic components. Additionally, the sole is resistant to hydrocarbons and the heel area offers excellent shock absorption, which effectively reduces fatigue during prolonged standing and walking.
