For which specific working environments is this Portwest B1704E safety shoe most suitable?
This sporty safety shoe is ideally suited for dry sectors in which professionals cover many miles, such as logistics, transport, warehouses, and light industry. Thanks to its advanced ESD protection, the shoe prevents electrostatic discharges, making it also perfect for workplaces with sensitive electronic equipment.
In addition, the integrated ladder grip in the sole provides extra stability and traction while climbing ladders and stairs, which significantly increases safety in the workplace.
What do the S1PS rating and the ESD property of this safety shoe mean for my safety?
The S1PS rating guarantees that this shoe is equipped with a protective safety toe cap resistant to an impact of 200 joules, a shock-absorbing heel, and a perforation-resistant sole of 3 millimeters. This effectively protects your feet against falling objects and sharp objects on the ground.
The ESD protection dissipates accumulated electrostatic electricity in a controlled manner via the sole. This protects sensitive electronic components in the workplace against damage from unexpected static discharges.
